City Beach Probus take an interesting outing to the Kwinana Grain Terminal
07 May 2018
A group of 12 members from City Beach Probus Club attended this most interesting outing to the Kwinana Grain Terminal in Rockingham. It is the largest grain exporting facility in WA. Shipping more than half the states grain production for wheat, barley, canola and other grains.
The CBH Group is Australia’s largest co-operative and a leader in the Australian grain industry, with operations extending along the value chain from grain storage, handling, transport, marketing and processing.
Owned and controlled by around 4500 WA grain growers, this integrated supply chain from growers to customer, marketing and exporting grain to over 30 international destinations.
The Probus members enjoyed this interesting day, discussing the day over lunch at a café in Rockingham, and have decided that the outings together are well worth the time and effort.
