Fishing Group

Member Kathy from Pumistone Passage Probus Club shares an article about her Club.

This club is simply awesome for adventures it is true,

We do so many things each month and visitors can come too

We have our monthly meeting with exciting talks to hear

Plus walks and coffee mornings with outings far and near

Then there is the Fishing Group Captain Ahab arranges each month

But the fish so far have eluded them so things have come to a crunch !!

" I know let's take the B B Q  boat and catch our lunch to cook "

Well we thought that a great idea get the bait on the hooks.

However the ladies were certain that our hunger would not be fed,

So they secretly organized sausages hoping the fishermen wouldn't see red.

Well that turned out to be a great idea as the fish escaped the hooks,

So it was just a blessing that the sausages could be cooked.

But we had an amazing time , there's Jan getting ready to cast

Will this be her moment to catch us some fish at last.

Or will it be another tale of the one that got away?

Perhaps we'll have to leave it and try again another day.

But the ladies oh so sensible bringing food just in case

The B B Q food was tasty and nothing went to waste

There were so many of us looking for fun that day

That we had to hire 3 boats to take us on our way

The Passage is really beautiful, dolphins, dugons, turtles too

The Glass House Mountains in the back ground such a lovely view

Pumistone Passage Pobus fills our lives with fun

But then that's just what Probus means when all is said and done

Oh WAIT what just happened? a fish has just been caught!!!

Lyn has landed a pretty fish the men are looking fraught

Just leave it to the ladies Lyn will show you how its done

As our Probus group is just the place for fellowship and fun !!

Member Terry caught the strange creature but Lyn Bey was the hero who actually caught a fish !!
