Booragoon members enjoy a striking spring day

On an outstanding spring day in October, members of the Booragoon Probus Club Inc (M) enjoyed an outing to the beautiful Chittering Valley.

Members and their partners first enjoyed a morning tea at Bell's Rapids – a delightful spot situated where the Swan and Avon rivers meet. Members were told it’s a popular site from which to observe the annual Avon Descent White Water Race.

From there, the group toured Chittering Valley to observe some of WA's famous wildflowers in one the best seasons ever seen. The various shades of Blue Lechenaultia were particularly striking.

After a quick stop at Orange Grove Orchard for a complimentary glass of freshly-squeezed orange juice and the opportunity to purchase some of their wares, the club met up again at The Bindoon Bakery for an enjoyable lunch.
