Updates from Toodyay Probus Club

John (Wheels) Wheeler was the guest speaker at the last meeting at Toodyay Probus Club. John was an RFDS (Royal Flying Doctor Service) Pilot for donkey’s years! His first flight was in 1980. His experiences were so vast that he didn’t have time to talk about for all of them so the Club has invited him back later on in the year to give a another talk.
John and Heather also have a yellow Gyrocopter that will be seen occasionally over the Toodyay skies, which they use to travel around to places like Yanchep and Geraldton or wherever takes their fancy!
Probians pictured above have also been busy ‘out-and-about’ again. In this month members have been to see the Toodyay Theatre presentation, ‘Double 2J Radio’ at the Town Hall, the very funny ‘Senior’s Moments’ comedy at the Heath Ledger theatre and the beautiful movie, ‘Guernsey Literary and Potato Peel Pie Society’ at Ace in Midland. In addition, they have been helping the community stay tidy, with a litter pickup on Julimar Road. Gosh, I’m out of breath!
