Atherton Tablelands adventure

On a trip earlier this year, 46 members of the Innisfail Probus Club travelled by coach to the Atherton Tablelands.

The first stop was a welcoming morning tea by Hayley and staff at the Whistle Stop Cafe at Yungaburra, a very pleasant and enjoyable outdoor venue where light refreshments and service were overwhelming.

Then it was on to Mareeba Heritage Museum where members were met by Velina with light refreshments and an unbelievable visit down memory lane. The Museum has so much to see from our past history – it should be on the “must do” list.

The final stop for lunch was at Mareeba Leagues Club where staff went out of their way to look after everybody. The experience of dining there impressed all members – well done to everyone involved, and a special thanks to Judi and Richard Rees and Frances Lagana for a well-organised fantastic day.
