Special milestone

The Probus Club of Karrinyup & North Beach celebrated the 20 years of service of Past President Colin Atkinson at their meeting in September.

Colin had only been in the Club six months when he took on the role of Secretary and he held executive positions from then until 2018. During his time on-committee he served as President on five occasions, guiding the Club through the adoption of the new constitution.  Colin also took on the roles of Vice President and Property Officer. 

His quiet, knowledgeable and dedicated way gained Colin the respect of all his fellow members and his advice and help is still sought on Club matters.

He is fondly remembered by the older Club members for the role he played in securing the move from the then meeting place at the Church to the current bowling club venue for Club meetings. 

He certain embodies the true spirit of Probus – Fun, Friendship and Fellowship, and to this we add Service.
