An island holiday

Fascinating historical tours, delicious seafood feasts and beautiful scenery were all part of a recent trip to Norfolk Island for the Probus Club of Dingley.
Last month, 28 members to Sydney, where they enjoyed a dinner cruise on the harbour before boarding a flight to Norfolk Island the following morning.
During the following five days we visited many of the island’s historical sites where the excellent guides, mostly direct descendants of the Mutiny of the Bounty, gave very informative information about the convict days.
We also enjoyed some beautiful gardens, a fish fry, progressive dinner, breakfast bushwalk and of course, the duty-free shopping, not to be missed.
