St Leonards Probus Clubs Celebratory 20th Birthday

The Probus Club of St Leonards celebrated its 20th Birthday on the 27th November, 2017 with a morning tea supplied by the Drysdale Country Women’s Association.
The celebrations were attended by 90 club members and 13 visitors. Visitors included members from the Portarlington Probus Club and the Drysdale Rotary Club. Six Foundation Members, Dawn & Peter Jackson, Helen Forsythe, Joan Creed, Marj Wilson and Shirley Hadden were presented with 20th celebratory Probus Pins.
All of these foundation members at one time or another have been on the Club’s Committee in positions as follows:
Dawn Jackson was a Committee Member in 1997/8, 1999, & 2000. Peter Jackson has been Treasurer 1997/98, Secretary 1999, 2009 to 2011, 2016, & 2017, President 2000 & a Committee Member 2004. Peter was made a Life Member in 2010. Helen Forsythe has been President in 1998 & 2011, Committee Member 1997/8, 2002, 2004 to 2006, to 2010, and made a Life Member in 2010. Joan Creed was a Committee Member in 2001, 2005 and 06, and 2011-2013.Marj Wilson was a Committee Member in 2008 to 2010, 2012 and 2013 and made a Life Member in 2014. Shirley Hadden was a Committee Member for 2002-2004.
