 Bathurst Winter Festival

The Bathurst Winter Festival is an annual celebration of the magic of winter in Bathurst, bringing together stunning light shows across historic buildings, live music, food and wine events, outdoor ice skating and show rides, in a carnival atmosphere. In 2021 the festival theme is People and Place. Keep an eye out for the unique interpretations of this year's theme as you wander along the Illumination Light Walk and check out the Brighten Up Bathurst locations around town. Rugging up and heading outdoors has never been so much fun!

With Love, Marilyn

Direct from the USA “With Love, Marilyn” stars Erin Sullivan as Marilyn Monroe in a special one-woman tribute performance to one of the most iconic romantic ingenues. With 28 years of theatre experience, Ms. Sullivan has performed across the globe playing some of Broadway’s best blondes. Her journey with Marilyn began in the new play “Marilee and Baby Lamb: The Assassination of an American Goddess”. Continuing her passion for this woman’s life and legacy is what has built the foundation for this piece.

Queensland Garden Expo

Queensland Garden Expo is a three day celebration of gardening. The event attracts over 40,000 green thumbs and novice gardeners from across Queensland and interstate. Held at Nambour on the beautiful Sunshine Coast, it is ideally situated to showcase all the best of subtropical gardening.

Illuminate Adelaide

A new major annual winter event taking over Adelaide’s city streets, laneway and buildings, celebrating innovation, music, art, technology and light.

Scarborough Sunset Markets – Winter Edition

If Thursday nights are for the Summer Season, Saturday afternoons are undoubtedly for her toastier little sister. Those pesky winter blues are a thing of the past at the Scarborough Sunset Winter Markets; warm, intimate, extremely delicious and the ultimate spot to spend time with the whole gang. It's time to throw on your best “keep-warm woollies” as Scarborough’s Winter Markets Season returns. Every Saturday until 30 October, Scarborough will ignite into a cosy sanctuary of all your market favs along with a few new wintery delights.

Alice Springs Show

The largest community event in Alice Springs, the Alice Springs Show is an agriculture Show designed to support and promote the Pastoral Industry of Central Australia through exhibits and competitions during the first weekend of July.

Huon Valley Mid-winter Festival

The Huon Valley Mid-Winter Festival is all about celebrating the region's apple-picking history and at its core is the wassail: the ages-old tradition of scaring evil spirits from the orchard to bring on a bumper crop. All the festivals much-loved traditions make a comeback including the Burning Man, Tassie's best folk-funk bands, the coveted costume competition, tales tall and true from Tassie’s best storytellers and of course the Wassail.

Truffle Infused Winter Weekends

Truffle season is upon us and Mount Majura are excited to include truffles at their cellar door as part of the winter tasting experience. Come in to the cellar door at Mount Majura Vineyard to taste a flight of wines matched with truffled brie. Combining a deliciously rich and creamy brie with truffles from neighbour Jayson at The Truffle Farm.
