30th Anniversary

Thirty years ago, on the 7th November, 1988, the inaugural meeting of The Ladies Probus Club of Mount Eliza Village inc, was held in the Uniting Church, Narthex, Mount Eliza. The meeting was attended by 51 Ladies.

On the 15th October, 2018, 30 members of the present Club, attended a Birthday Lunch to celebrate the Pearl Anniversary of the clubs inception, at Norwood House, Mount Eliza. Amongst those present, was Jo Keily, one of the original members, who cut the Birthday Cake, along with President Brenda Campbell, and Vice President, Libby Macheski.

The objectives set out in 1988 still remain the same to this date; to visit places of interest; enjoy interesting guest speakers, and the forming of groups such as book club, solo, scrabble, coffee mornings, and many other activities to challenge the mind. These activities have brought about companionship and many lasting friendships.

Ladies Probus Club of Mount Eliza Village inc. meet at 10am on the first Monday, of each month, at the Mount Eliza Uniting Church, Canadian Bay Road, Mount Eliza, Victoria.
