Probus Club of Fremantle Annual Picnic

There were 23 members from The Probus Club of Fremantle and partners who braved a cool but very enjoyable evening at the beautiful Quarantine Park in Bicton.
Initially the group socialized and chatted with each other whilst having nibbles and drinks. Then there was silence and member Leon commented that eating tea certainly quietened everyone.
Once refreshed the boules. Four teams of four played off in pairs and the winner of each pair faced up for the finals. In the final, member Colin Johnston’s team won Round 1 and then it looked for certain that member Danny’s team equalized when member Barry Prosser lobbed very close to the jack. However member Don Slaughter on the last pitch finished next to the jack and Danny’s Team were the winners.
