Members of Hobart Macquarie Probus were honoured to welcome the Governor of Tasmania, Her Excellency Professor the Honourable Kate Warner AC as the Club’s Special Guest Speaker at the February 2021 Monthly General Meeting. Her Excellency was accompanied by her husband Mr Richard Warner AM.

Following an outstanding career in Law at the University of Tasmania, Her Excellency was appointed the first female Governor of Tasmania, over six years ago.

Professor Warner, a Tasmanian, presented a very interesting session covering her life story from a toddler to Governor.

At the conclusion of her presentation she invited questions from members.
