Hanmer Springs Probus Club Turns 25.
The celebration was held at the recently renovated Hurunui Hotel, where a superb lunch was provided and a birthday cake was cut to commemorate the milestone.
About 40 members from across the Amuri region including Waiau, Rotherham, Culverden and Hanmer Springs attended the event.
There were several attending members who joined the Club in its early days including Les Harris whose wife, Peggy, was the first Secretary.
The President, Carolyn Hall, was glad to welcome the New Zealand Director of PSPL, Margaret Drake and supporting Rotarian, David Drake to the celebration.

Dr Robert Crawford, a valued member of the Club, was congratulated for his involvement in the New Zealand Order of Merit (MNZM), in the Queen’s Birthday Honours 2019.
Carolyn also acknowledged the major role many members have played in contributing to the success and heart of the Club.
Hanmer Springs Probus Club organises a range of different activities/guest speakers and openly welcomes new members.
