Committee 2023
If you are an active retiree and are seeking intellectual stimulation and diverse social activities, you are welcome to come along to one of our meetings. We are a mixed gender club.
We offer the opportunity to:
- Keep your mind active
- Make new friends
- Attend outings, tours and monthly walks
- Hear interesting guest speakers
- Join one of our groups – scrabble, cryptic crosswords, garden.
Monthly meetings are held on the second Wednesday at 9.40 am at North Balwyn Bowls Club, 60 Buchanan Ave, North Balwyn.
At each meeting members are advised of upcoming activities followed by morning tea, then we hear a guest speaker. Our speakers inform us on a wide range of topics. Following each meeting, there is an optional lunch at a different local restaurant each month.
Current membership is about 85. Our joining fee is $20 plus an annual fee of $75, which covers insurance and morning teas, newsletter, hall hire, etc.
