The Probus Club of Round Corner Inc 

We set up shop with the inaugural meeting on 8th August 2011.  Fourteen years on and we still have many of our founding members attending regularly.  Our meetings are held on the second Monday of the month from 9.30am for 10.00am, at the Galston Club 21 Arcadia Road Galston.   The exception being in January  when we get together for our Annual picnic in a park taking time to relax after our busy Christmas Season.

We have regular activities run by members and these include a Tennis Group playing at Living Choice at Glenhaven, Friday mornings at 9.00am.

Then there is the Movie Club which is held on the first Thursday following the monthly meeting.  We meet at Bellacino's cafe for coffee by 9.15 and decide which movie we would like to see either as a group or on our own.   School holidays we dont meet.

Then we have the talented convenor who  runs our very popular Book Club which is held 1pm after lunch on the day of our monthly General meeting.  We also have a convenor for our Scrabble Club which meets at 1pm in the Auditorium of the club on the Friday in the same week the club meeting is held.

We have two Activity Coordinators, Robyn and Judith, and these ladies are always busy looking for destinations of interest to have day trips and hold our monthly luncheons or looking for somewhere nice for our Christmas Luncheon which this year will be at Heritage House in Kenthurst.

Our members very much like to have some time away from the big city, with a bus load of 30 members recently enjoying 6 days/5 nights on a trip to Jindabyne and surrounds.  In 2026 we have organised a fly/drive trip to Sunsine Coast and Montville and later in the year 6 days bus trip again, this time to Dorrigo and Coffs Harbour.
