Extract Minutes of the Foundation Meeting - 11 May 1987 at 9:30 am.

71 applications were received with a further 12 ladies apologising for non attendance and stating that they would attend the next meeting. The Resolution was to form the Port of Townsville Ladies Probus Club. Future meetings would be held at the RSL on the second Monday of each month at 9:30 am.

The annual subscription would be $10. Morning tea would be $1 per member. The meeting closed at 11:10 am by President Joan. The next meeting was held on Monday, 15 June 1987 as the 8th June was a Public Holiday.
