The Aim of the Club.

To provide regular meetings for retired and semi-retired people (men and women) who appreciate and value, in their retirement, opportunities to meet others, hear addresses by guest speakers on topical subjects, and visit places and organisations of special appeal to members.

Membership

Membership is open to professional and business people and executives, resident in the Tamworth district, who have fully or partially retired from their normal progession, business or executive role.   It is also open to others of similar level of interest, in fact, anyone who has had some measure of responsibility in any field of worthy endeavour.

"Membership of the Club shall be contingent upon attendance at regular meetings of not less than 50% in any club year, subject to leave of absence in cases of ill health or other reasonable grounds."   (From the Constitution).

"Applicants for membership must be sponsored by two members and approved by the Management Committee."   (From the Constitution).

Prospective members should attend two meetings prior to their application for membership being considered by the Management Committee.

Prior to a vacancy becoming available for membership, the prospective member shall be permitted to attend meetings on the understanding that they have no voting rights and cannot be given any concessions towards any functions held by the Club.

Activities

The Club meets on the second Tuesday of each month from 10.00 a.m. to 12 noon, at the Community Centre, Darling Street, Tamworth, to provide fellowship and hear a guest speaker.   Between meetings, visits and outings are arranged, to which the spouses of members, as well as guests, are invited.

Subscription

The annual subscription is $35.00 and there is a joining fee of $14.00.
