Thursday, 9th - Winchelsea – “Country Dahlias” & the Hastings Ostrich farm.

As it is peak season, feel free to wander through over 2,350 varieties, purchase flowers & order tubers followed by a picnic lunch. Visit the magnificent flocks of red, blue & black ostriches at the Hastings farm in the afternoon.
Be at the RSL by 8.15am for 8.30am departure, returning 5pm.

Wednesday, 13th - Sunbury –“ Living Legends”/Woodlands Estate

Devonshire morning tea in the magnificent estate dining room followed by a meet & greet with retired championship racehorses and several Cup winners. Lunch at Woodlands Estate of sandwiches, slices, tea & coffee then home via the world’s biggest lollie shop at Mickleham.

The Committee will hold a high tea for members following the General Meeting.A selection of sandwiches, quiches, sausage rolls, savouries along with sweettemptations & a cheese selection will be served followed by tea, coffee, & juice

Wednesday, 9th - Kerrisdale Mountain Railway

Talk & tour followed by an exciting 40 minute railway journey through steep grades & tight curves of the Tallarook ranges – ramps will assist getting on & off the train. A lunch of gourmet sausages with breads, salad and Anzac biscuits is provided.

Wednesday, 14th - Geelong region/Narana Aboriginal Cultural Centre
A 2 hour tour including boomerang throwing, a stroll through the native gardens learning about medicinal plants & bush tucker, a feeding session with emus, wallabies & kangaroos & a Dreamtime experience of dancing & story-telling. A 2 course lunch will follow at the Geelong RSL.
Be at the RSL by 8am for 8.15am departure and returning around 4pm.

November 2020 (Multi Day Trip)
Monday 9th to Friday 13th - Lakes Entrance Community Support Tour
Four nights and five days based in Lakes Entrance and touring townsand attractions in the region so badly affected by the fires of East Gippsland. Tourismin the area is desperate for visitors to come and spend some time and money with them.If a 24-seater bus is used the cost will be $750, (single supplement $200), includingaccommodation, all breakfasts, two dinners & entry to all tourist attractions,homesteads, museums, winery etc. A minimum of 35 is needed for a large bus (thecost will be amended).
