Bradfield Probus Club Founded 1983

A meeting of interest  was held in the Roseville RSL in October 1983 to discuss the formation of a PROBUS CLUB. A further one in November 1983 resulted in the establishment of a new club. Allan Northcott was elected foundation President. The name, Bradfield, was adopted from the federal electoral district. The first monthly meeting was held on the 16th January, 1984.

Eric Bond served as the Club's second president, from 1985 to 1986, and he was the Club’s patron for many years. He produced the Club’s newsletter for twenty years and continued to produce the Club’s membership lists until he passed away. Eric was instrumental in the establishment of Bradfield Probus and the Club is grateful for all he did.
