Magill Probus members arrived at the Hallett Cove Boat Shed and found a sign directing them to dine in the upstairs restaurant. It proved to be a splendid setting with a wonderful view, and the extensive menu even offered “half-size” options.
After lunch, they adjourned to the South Australia Water Desalination Plant where they viewed displays, watched a video, and listened to an informative talk. The visit continued with a bus tour of the site, including a stop to inspect one of the plants that was not operating on the day.
