Friendship and Fellowship Across the Sea

Chatsworth–Carindale Probus members join Norfolk Island Probus for a warm 40th-year celebration, enjoying morning tea, friendship, and a memorable cultural exchange. 

During the recent tour to Norfolk Island, several of the Chatsworth–Carindale Probus members, including their President Helen, had the privilege of attending the monthly meeting of the Norfolk Island Probus. It was a true highlight of the trip! 

They were warmly greeted by President David and the club members, who made them feel at home from the moment they arrived. Morning tea was an absolute feast, with a table filled with delicious homemade treats generously prepared by the members. 

Celebrating its 40th year, the Norfolk Island Probus is rich in history and spirit. They were especially delighted to meet past President and longest-serving member Zeta, whose wit, charm and impeccable fashion advice kept them entertained throughout the morning. 

Members’ heartfelt thanks go to John, their Social Coordinator, for organising the visit and giving them the opportunity to experience true Probus friendship and fellowship. It was a memorable occasion that perfectly captured the spirit of connection that defines the organisation, no matter how far from home they travel.
